Listen

Major-General Dean Milner sounded optimistic and pragmatic about the approaching deadline for Canada’s training mission in Afghanistan in a teleconference with journalists from Kabul on Wednesday (September 4)

General Milner, who is the commander of Operation ATTENTION, praised the 800 soldiers who are part of the mission for their work. And he outlined the planned calendar for the reduction of Canadian military presence before the March 31 end of mission.
