Toeless socks have been made popular by a young girl from the western province of British Columbia to the point that she has started her own company. Katelyn Lohr became known when she pitched the idea to a television program in which business people screen ideas and provide seed money to people they think will succeed.
Katelyn was turned down but her appearance on the show caught worldwide attention. Demand grew and, with the help of her family, she established Freetoes, her company that manufactures toeless socks and has already sold 30,000 pairs.
Why would you want toeless socks? Apparently they are good for keeping your feet warm while wearing sandals, dancing or doing yoga. Go figure.
