A primer on Christianity

Christmas is a day of celebration for Christians around the world, but how many of the rest of us know–really know–the essence of the legacy of the man whose birth is celebrated today?

I know little about Christ’s legacy. Only what I have read. Both the good and bad things done by others in his name.

Frank Marino has long --and as we used to say in the 1960s--Jesus-length brown hair and a very gentle smile.

But I do know a man who does his level best to live the essence of what he views as the legacy of Jesus Christ.

His name is Frank Marino. You may have heard of him. He’s a musical virtuoso, a rock ‘n’ roll musician of the first rank with fans the world over.

One doesn’t often hear the words rock ‘n’ roll and Jesus Christ used in the same sentence, unless, of course, he is the subject of a Broadway musical.

But today let us cast aside that juxtaposition and apparent contradiction and hear from a devout man who is both rock ‘n” roll star and Christian theologian.

Frank Marino joined us from his home in Montreal to talk about what he sees as the true legacy of Jesus Christ.
