141223_yo6eb_rci-skate-flag_sn635Skiing and snowboarding are riskiest winter sports. While many Canadians head into holiday vacations and are looking forward to outdoor activities, an injury prevention charity is advising them to manage their risks.  The most dangerous winter sports likely to result in injury and hospitalization are snowboarding and skiing, says Alex Kelly, a spokesperson with the charity Parachute.

Susan Bloomfield had always cherished the menorah that was passed down through two generations in her Christian family.  But she did not know the history of the sacred object at the heart of Hanukah celebrations.
