Russia, Finland, oil – Arctic week in Review

Eye on the Arctic brings you stories and newsmakers from across the North  

On this week’s news round-up, we bring you some of your most read stories on Eye on the Arctic this week.

Finland-Russia relations and the effect of dropping oil prices dominated the headlines this week:

– In Russia, troops move to an Arctic base near the Finnish border

-Earlier in the week, a Yle News, Finland survey suggests the majority of Finns would support a referendum on joining NATO

-And low oil prices could cost Alaska billions
