Canadians number one again in internet use

Canadians spend an average of 36.3 hours on-line and visit an average of 80 sites every month.  This according to comScore Canada, which also found we’re increasingly using our smart-phones to access the ‘net.

We’re in good company with Americans, who spend 35.2 hours a month on-line, Italians, who spend 33.5 hours and Britons, who spend 33 hours.

One of the most surprising findings was the increase in video consumption, up 36 per cent in the last year. 43 percent of users watched TV programs, 38 per cent watched news reports and 36 per cent reported watching music videos or other entertainment content.
