Radio Canada International produces and broadcasts a variety of daily and weekly programs, newscasts and web content, in one or more of seven languages: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, and Portuguese.
A number of our reports and interviews also air on our partner stations in French, English, Spanish, Russian and Mandarin.
Wherever you are in Canada or abroad, you can get your Radio Canada International via the web, satellite, analog/digital shortwave, or our network of public, private, community and university radio stations in various countries.
Radio Canada International is headquartered in Montreal, and most of our staff work out of there, but we also have contributors and correspondents in the nation’s capital, Ottawa, as well as Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Halifax.
Each year, RCI attends the Conference of International Broadcasters' Audience Research, which provides a deeper understanding among international public broadcasters of the practices and value of audience research and audience relations activities.
RCI is part of the Group of Six, along with the public broadcasters of Japan (NHK), the Netherlands (Radio Netherlands), Sweden (Sveriges Radio), Switzerland (Swissinfo.ch), and Australia (Australian Broadcasting Corporation).
Radio Canada International is also a member of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) and the Conseil International des Radios-Télévisions d’Expression Française (CIRTEF), a council for international French-language radio and television services.
Lastly, RCI joins forces with key partners to co-produce various properties – these include producers and broadcasters in Africa, China, and Latin America.
