Hockey are likely feeling the same way as these fans were during a work stoppage in 2004-05.

Canadians may have to forego watching their national sport on television. The National Hockey League has locked out its players. The dispute is over how to divvy up the US $3.28 in annual revenues.

Games were supposed to start October 11th. Fans may have to look at alternatives like getting off the couch and playing hockey themselves. More likely they will surf the net looking for players who will go play in European leagues if nothing is worked out in Canada. (ld)
