Ask Guidy - Tories promise loan guarantees for skilled immigrants

When foreign-trained professionals arrive here, it can be hard to find work in their field. Often they must study to upgrade their skills and get to know Canadian practices before they can get a job equivalent to what they'd achieved in their country of origin. Now, one of the promises made by the Conservative party during the current election campaign is the offer of a loan guarantee to help these immigrants. Toronto immigration lawyer Guidy Mamann looks at this idea and others he thinks can enhance Canada's immigration system.
