Ask Dr. Peter - Cutting back on pessimism

Given the news of the last few weeks from countries such as Libya and Japan, it's no surprise that some people are beginning to feel quite pessimistic about life. It's a natural reaction for some but clinical psychologist Dr. Peter Liu says it's not necessarily a healthy outlook. He says for some people, a persistantly negative perspective can open a door to poor mental or emotional health and he suggests ways people can develop a more positive outlook.
