India-Canada free trade negotiations speed up

Canadian Minister for International Trade, Ed Fast, met with India's Commerce and Industry Minister, Anand Sharma, at the World Economic Forum at the end of January, where they announced that free trade negotiations between the countries will now be fast-tracked. Roy MacLaren, Chairman of the Canada-India Business Council and former Canadian Minister of International Trade, sheds light on what this means.
