ELDERLY NEWCOMERS LEARN TO PROTECT THEMSELVES AGAINST FINANCIAL ABUSE

It’s estimated that one in 12 seniors in the West Coast province of British Columbia falls victim to some form of financial abuse. But, because of language and cultural barriers, some immigrant communities are unaware of how widespread the problem is.
