National survey indicates Canadian women unaware of the warning signs of stroke

The Heart and Stroke foundation says Canadian women are dangerously unaware of stroke symptoms and prevention, especially women of Chinese and South Asian origin. Stroke is a leading cause of death in Canada. As The Link’s Lynn Desjardins reports, the foundation say more needs to be done to prevent it, and for people to get quick treatment if they do suffer a stroke.
