In a blue between sea and sky is a world of virgins, mermaids and sailors! This is just part of French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier's palette. Montreal, one of the first cities to appreciate his designs, is the setting for an exhibit that takes one from "the Sidewalk to the Catwalk" in the Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier. A huge success for Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts, the exhibit will soon begin a world tour. The Link's Carmel Kilkenny went to see the exhibit and spoke with curator Thierry-Maxime Loriot who shared the stories behind this labor of love. ( Photo: THE CANADIAN PRESS/Paul Chiasson )
