The future of radio in a digital age

We mark UNESCO's World Radio Day with a panel discussion on the medium and its evolution in the digital age. Sharing their thoughts with Marc Montgomery are veteran BBC journalist and online editor Alfred Hermida who now teaches at the University of British Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism; Kevin Perkins, the executive director of Canada's award-winning Farm Radio International and Chris Straw, the Senior Director of Network Talk for CBC English Radio.
