Fear, Anger and Politics, documentary film

Fear, Anger & Politics, is the documentary film by Montrealer Nadia Zouaoui.  It illustrates the good, the bad, and the ugly of the American justice system in the wake of 9/11 by tracing the stories of 3 Musllims and their experiences.

The two-part documentary premiers on both Al Jazeera English and Al Jazeera Arabic this week.  It will air in two episodes; part one will run on September 4th, part two on September 11th.

Fear, Anger & Politics is featured on the program, Al Jazeera World, and it can be seen each week at the following times GMT:  Tuesday: 2000; Wednesday: 1200; Thursday: 0100; Friday: 0600; Saturday: 2000; Sunday: 1200; Monday: 0100; and Tuesday: 0600.

Nadia Zouaoui hopes the film will be a catalyst for discussions around the issues of rights and responsibilities, and she has a page on Facebook in the name of the film to facilitate some of this exchange.

Carmel Kilkenny spoke with Nadia Zouaoui in Montreal to  hear about the process of making the film:
