Canadians average 45 hours per month online (twice the global average), making us the biggest users of the Internet  according to the 2013.ca Factbook released by the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) Tuesday, January 22.

Of those 45 hours we're watching videos for an average of 19 hours, which makes us the second highest viewers of videos on the Internet after Germany.

Despite this high usage, the cost of access to the Internet is higher than in other countries, and the quality not as good.

RCI's Wojtek Gwiazda spoke to Mark Buell, CIRA's Communications Manager and the author of the Factbook.
