Canadians' access to Internet costly, slower than many other countries

Canadians are the biggest Internet users in the world, logging an average of 45 hours a month. But our access is not as good as that of users in other countries, and it's more costly.

Japan's Internet access is 100 times faster then ours. And as more and more government services need Internet to be accessed, Canadians are finding it's costing them, and they don't get the services they expect.

RCI's Wojtek Gwiazda spoke to Steve Anderson, the Founder and Executive Director of OpenMedia.ca, a grassroots organisation for an open Internet.
