Canadian reaction to the the election of President Obama

Canadians and the Canadian media followed the election results in the United States closely Tuesday night, November 6. And as soon as the election of President Barack Obama was confirmed, politicians and others shared their views.

The two countries are each other's biggest trading partners, as well as sharing the world's longest border.
