On this edition of MASALA CANADA I talk to documentary filmmaker, artist and student Vandana Sood about her project “The Taxi Takes on Terror” in which she videos Mumbai taxi drivers talking about terrorism and the Mumbai attacks with their passengers. 
 
Mumbai singer and composer Shibani Kashyap talks about her love for the unplugged guitar, writing for Bollywood films, and her headline appearance this weekend at the Masala! Mehndi! Masti! Festival in Toronto. 
 
And newspaper editor Sunil Rao talks about the beginnings of his paper the South Asian Focus. Based in the Toronto suburb of Brampton, the three year old paper is on a big expansion as it focuses on news for the South Asian community.
