Eye on the Arctic Breaks News

It’s been an exciting day here in the Eye on the Arctic headquarters: we broke news! – Just a couple of weeks after officially going live. Site producer and journalist Levon Sevunts was up in Alert – the northernmost tip of Nunavut, Canada covering a Canadian Forces military exercise, Op Nunalivut 10. The Arctic is a harsh terrain to cover – hundreds of thousands of kilometres of tundra – and narray a soul to tell your story to – lucky guy, that Tom. ( See his blog  www.onemanepic.com ).

This project continues to grow. We also launched content from Finland this week. Stories include:

Last Hope for Endangered Seals is Manmade
Finland’s Darwin Dilemma
Seeds of Opportunity: Water
Want to Ski? You May Have to Head Indoors

We are continually updating the site. Come back often and stay informed about the Arctic!
