Inuk NHL star Jordin Tootoo stick giveaway video goes viral

A video that shows National Hockey League star Jordin Tootoo making a kid’s day at a hockey game has gone viral.

Tootoo, originally from Rankin Inlet, in Canada’s eastern Arctic territory of  Nunavut, was the first Inuk hockey player to join the NHL.

He plays for the Detroit Red Wings.

The video has hit nearly 150,000 views on YouTube and was among the top posts on Reddit this morning.
