Name three of the largest indigenous groups in the Northwest Territories?

Aboriginals
Aboriginals constitute 52% of the population of the Northwest Territories, according to the 2006 Census. Dene, Métis and Inuit/Inuvialuit form the largest groups. Following the example of the Inuit of Nunavut, several communities in the Northwest Territories now demand recognition of their ancestral lands. They seek control of the natural resources and they fight for the right to self-government.
