达卡服装厂倒塌事件再度引发加拿大人对 “血汗工厂” 的关注

孟加拉国首都达卡的服装厂倒塌造成超过300人死亡事件再度引发加拿大人对在第三世界国家制造西方品牌的工人们工作条件和安全的关注。

在倒塌大楼的废墟中,可以看到不少西方知名品牌的服装,包括加拿大品牌Joe Fresh。

据加拿大媒体报道,孟加拉国工人的平均工资为每月40加元。

但分析家们说,现代服装行业的供应链使消费者很难确定他们购买的衬衫或裤子是否是血汗工厂的产品。
