Miguel Ángel Lahera es un joven cubano de 25 años, nacido en Holguín, residente ahora en La Habana y un fiel seguidor de Radio Canadá Internacional en la Web. Él comenzó a escuchar Canadá en las Américas, Reflejo Boreal y el Castor Mensajero en la onda corta cuando tenía 17 años en su Holguín natal.
En aquella época, nos dice Miguel Angel, no tenía absolutamente ningún conocimiento de Internet. Fue más tarde cuando gracias al cable submarino que tendió Venezuela hacia Cuba para permitirles el acceso a Internet, que él comenzó a familiarizarse con esta nueva tecnología.
Hoy, Miguel Ángel se graduó como ingeniero informático en la Universidad de Ciencias Informáticas de La Habana y trabaja ahora con una empresa que se dedica a la producción de programas informáticos. En consecuencia, él está ahora muy al tanto del desarrollo de las nuevas tecnologías en su país y tiene la posibilidad de seguir en contacto con nosotros por la Web.
