Researchers looking at how Sweden’s largest wind farm impacts fish

  • Researchers are currently investigating how Sweden’s largest offshore wind farm Lillgrund affects fish and marine life.
  • Fisherman Torbjörn Pålsson says that there are significantly fewer cod than four to five years ago. But so far the researchers don’t know why.
  • Since 2022, all commercial cod fishing has been prohibited in the Öresund strait, where the windfarm is located.
