COP29 in Baku: High-stakes climate talks amid protests, walkouts, big money debates

- The UN’s 29th climate conference, COP29, is now into its second week, and has so far been marked by walkouts and boycotts.
- Most recently, Argentina’s delegation walked out, just as the talks between environment and climate ministers were about to kick off.
- One of the big debates is how much money should be put on the table to help developing countries handle the costs of climate change. Anders Wennersten is a Swedish Radio reporter at COP29 in Baku: ”There are demonstrations every day with young delegates requiring climate justice and trying to put extra pressure on the negotiators.”
