NATO scales up presence in Baltic Sea to protect undersea infrastructure

- Nato is embarking on a four-month operation to protect critical undersea infrastructure in the Baltic Sea after a number of undersea data and power cables have been cut or disconnected in recent months.
- According to Finnish public service broadcaster, YLE, ten Nato vessels will patrol near underwater energy and data cables from the end of this week until April.
- The Swedish Armed Forces is considering its resources for how Sweden will contribute to the Nato operation, says press officer Jimmie Adamsson.
