Proposal: Sweden’s 2030 climate targets to remain unchanged

- Sweden should keep its climate emissions targets agreed upon for 2030, but adapt them to harmonise with the EU’s base targets.
- The cross-party committee on environmental objectives today submitted its report to the government, with a set of proposals concerning emissions from transport, agriculture and domestic heating.
- “All parties in Sweden now support the Swedish climate targets,” says Moderate Party politician Christoffer Fjellner, the chair of the committee.
