So we arrive at the Nova Inn in Iqaluit and a guy comes up to sell me some seal skin crafts. He starts chatting with me and says he’s from Qikiqtarjuaq. “Oh, I’ve been there,” I said. “I like it very much.”
“Not me,” he said. “Iqaluit’s better.”
“Why?” I asked.
“The drugs are cheaper,” he said. “Only $30 a gram.”
So I’ve heard, so I’ve heard.
