Northern Sweden hosts air force war games

The exercise, called Nordic Air Meet will take place over ten days and is aimed to improve coordination between the countries’ air forces, according to the Swedish Armed Forces.

Air forces from the US, UK, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland and Denmark will take part.

Previous exercises in the region involving NATO countries have attracted criticism from neighbouring Russia.
