Swedes head for hills during Easter
Many Swedes will take advantage of the sunny, cold weather over the Easter holiday to drive north to the mountains to ski or drive snowmobiles.
Resorts in northern Sweden are fully booked or have only a few rooms vacant.
At the Kåbdalis resort in the far north of Sweden, resort operators have doubled the size of their staff to help during one of the most popular weekends of the winter season.
“We have no more rooms available. If you want to stay in Kåbdalis you had better bring a tent,” says Olov Gunnarstedt, who runs the facility with his brother.
