Sweden takes part in Arctic military manoeuvres with NATO countries

  • One of NATO’s biggest military exercises since the Cold War gets underway in Norway today with partners Sweden and Finland taking part.
  • Cold Response 2022, organised by the Norwegian Armed Forces, will see more than 30,000 troops carry out drills in sub-zero temperatures across Norway.
  • The exercises include European and North American members of NATO as well as non members Sweden and Finland.
