Thousands of kilos of explosives missing in Norrbotten

Police investigating if they’ve been delivered to criminals. 

  • New details have emerged concerning the seizure of a large quantity of explosives a few weeks ago in the border town of Haparanda, in Norrbotten county.
  • 9,000 kilograms of explosives were found, but police suspect several thousand more are still missing, sources tell Swedish Radio News.
  • Police are now investigating if it’s made its way into the hands of criminals.
