2 people dead in Yellowknife, RCMP investigating as double homicide

RCMP are investigating a possible double homicide in Yellowknife.

Police were called to a home on Bigelow Crescent, between Williams and Wolgar avenues, just after 3:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, where they found one person dead and another suffering from serious injuries, according to a news release from RCMP.

The injured person later died in Stanton Territorial Hospital.

Police were canvassing Bigelow Crescent early on Saturday afternoon.

They have also asked anyone who lives on Bigelow Crescent or Williams Avenue that has surveillance or door bell camera footage from between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. to contact them.
