Northern Swedish municipality of Luleå bans mobile phones in schools

  • A general ban on mobile phones in elementary schools is being prepared by the government parties and the Sweden Democrats.
  • At the same time, more and more Swedish schools are choosing to implement mobile bans on their own.
  • ”I can understand not getting to use it in class, but during breaks one ought to be allowed”, says Måns Björklund at Residensskolan in Luleå.
