Risk of grass fires in coastal areas of Sweden

  • Sweden’s national weather agency, SMHI is warning of the risk of grass fires in several parts of the country, including along the east and west coasts.
  • Monday’s warning also applies to the counties of Stockholm and Uppsala and the Baltic island of Gotland.
  • SMHI wants people to be extra careful when lighting a fire or working with large machinery.
