Throughout history, women have been punished for expressing sexuality, but now women are challenging that.

They’re also challenging stereotypes such as  that older women are interested in sex, that they don’t want casual sex, or married women won’t experiment and many others.

The birth control pill, gave me an opening to break free of some of the constraints of expressing their sexual desire.

Careers gave increased financial freedom resulting in even more social freedom, and now with technology, the ability to choose from an enormous pool of potential partners, tastes, and situations.

More than ever the video shows women are rejecting labels and fear of being stigmatized and asserting their right to be sexual beings. The documentary will be shown on the domestic public broadcaster CBC Television as part of the show “Doc Zone” and will air Thursday February 12th at 9:00 pm.

The producers are also seeking international distribution which may also be seen in future at various international film festivals.
