Sniffing out Ringed Seals under Arctic ice

I’ve seen Dogs with Jobs, but this one takes the prize. An incredible video submitted to Ice Stories: Polar Media Collection documents a black labrador sniffing out ringed seals’ breathing holes, not at all visible to the human eye or senses beneath Arctic ice in Barrow, Alaska.

Ice stories will be adding video to its site and launching a large media collection in the spring.
