Russell Peters, the Canadian entertainer has made it into the number three spot on Forbe’s list of highest-earning comedians in the world.
The Brampton, Ontario native began his career poking fun at the culture shock and racism he observed in the Canadian mosaic.
On Forbe’s top 10-list for several years now, Peters moved into the third spot as a result of his “Notorious World Tour”. Two shows in Abu Dhabi reportedly sold-out in eight minutes.
With his global audience and YouTube clips, that got divided by cultural group, Russell Peters earned $21 million in the last year.
The tour continues with a show in San Diego, California on July 27th
American Jerry Seinfeld is in the number one spot, and Terry Fator, the ventriloquist who won America’s Got Talent in 2007 is in the number two spot.
