Welcome to this week’s column. We have a special treat this time around. Canadian astronaut and former commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield dropped by for a chat.
Even as a youngster, Chris Hadfield set a goal for himself, and that was to become an astronaut.
After a military career as a fighter pilot, and then specialized training as a test pilot, when Canada advertised for astronauts, he put his name in along with over 5,000 others.

In the end of course he made it, becoming the first Canadian to command the International Space Station.
He’s written a most interesting book about his experiences and about his philosophy on life as well…its called “An Astronauts Guide to Life On Earth.
