On this edition of Politics Today RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda reports on the charges and counter charges that exploded in Ottawa when the Canadian government introduced legislation to change the Canada Elections Act. As well he reviews a report of the Parliamentary Budget Office on sick leave in the federal public sector, and comments by Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird that the ministry was going to use social media to go to “direct diplomacy” as opposed to “elite diplomacy”.
