This week on the arts, culture, and lifestyle column, we jazz things up a bit.

One of the major jazz festivals in North America and with an international reputation, is the annual Montreal jazz fest which features plenty of free open air performances by world-class artists.
Of course many of those artists are Canadian, and many have an international star status in the jazz world.

On this edition, an encore presentation of a conversation with three such international stars.
Joining me in studio were Lorraine Desmarais, pianist, Dave Turner, saxophonist, and Michel Donato, bassist. All three are based in Montreal.
I hope you enjoy the conversation and the music.
