Star Wars, in all its incarnations is everywhere these days, but for the two Montreal designers behind the UNTTLD label, the legendary franchise has won them accolades and award of $15,000 Cdn.
Jose Manuel St. Jacques and Simon Belanger were honoured with the prize on Wednesday at Toronto’s World Master Card Fashion Week. The day before the duo won the Mercedes-Benz Start Up contest for emerging designers, which comes with a fully produced runway show, an editorial spread in Fashion Magazine and a cash award in the for of a $30,000 Cdn bursury.
