A new study seems to indicate that certainly is the case.
In fact the report from Oxfam noted that a mere sixty-two people in the world own as much wealth as half of the entire population of the world combined.
Oxfam says they manage this in part by keeping vast sums through tax-avoidance schemes. That money could be used to help lift the poor out of their impoverished situations.
Lynn spoke with Julie Delahanty, executive-director of Oxfam Canada.

To do this His Excellency, David Johnston has created a new award called appropriately, “The Governor-General’s Innovation Awards”.
The purpose is to foster a culture of celebrating and encouraging innovation here.
In an exclusive interview, Levon spoke with the Governor-General.
