MosaiCanada 150 a big hit in Gatineau, Quebec

Across the Ottawa River, in Jacques Cartier park, facing Canada’s Parliament Buildings, the horticultural works were designed and cultivated to honour the 150th anniversary of Canadian confederation.

Described on the site as “A tribute to Canada’s 150 years of history and its founding peoples told through flowers”, it is a beautiful one kilometre walk amid the wonders.

With no admission charge, the spectacle has welcomed well over a million visitors. It has been open daily, from 10 am to 7 pm, since June 30th.

It continues until October 15th, 2017.

The exhibit was created by Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal, and the visionary behind this group, Lise Cormier.
