Wild boar causing accidents in Sweden
The Swedish wild boar population has exploded in recent years and are causing more car accidents than ever.
Accidents involving wild boars increased by 63 percent in the first half of this year compared to 2011.
“They had a good year this year and the youngsters have survived, with good weather, so there are more wild boars and that’s why accidents rise,” says Daniel Söderberg, a game and wildlife manager for the Swedish Hunter’s Association.
