Mountain tourism in northern Sweden hindered by train disruptions
- Train disruptions on the Malmbanan, or the “Iron Ore Line” in the mountains of Norrbotten, have led to a devastating year for tourism up in Sweden’s north.
- Millions of kronor in revenue has been lost as guests haven’t been able to reach their accommodation and tours.
- Ulrika Nordgren of the Swedish Tourist Association says it’s been an incredibly unfortunate situation.
