Cooler summer temperatures good for Sweden’s Sami reindeer-herding communities

- Sweden’s reindeer are thriving because of the cooler summer temperatures this year, Swedish Radio P4 Västerbotten reports.
- Malå reindeer herding community says it is experiencing the best summer in five years.
- But Johannes Skum, chairman of Grans herding community, says that snow still on the ground up on the mountains close to the Norwegian border has had a negative impact on vegetation.
