The animals are usually seen in the tundra areas above the tree line in northern Canada, Greenland and Alaska. Dan Wettlaufer, the owner of the Andrew Lake Lodge where the animal was spotted, said this is the furthest south in Alberta in which the animal has been reported. (CBC)
